Chocolate Cake Brownies
1 pkg chocolate cake mix
1 t almond extract
21 ounces cherry pie
filling
2 eggs
1 C sugar
5 T butter
1/3 C milk
6 ounces semi-sweet
chocolate chips
Mix chocolate cake mix.
Almond extract cherry pie filling and beaten eggs. Beat until well blended. Pour into a 13 X 9
pan and bake 20-30 min. Remove from oven
and cool.
For the frosting bring
sugar butter and milk to a boil. Boil
for about 1 min stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate completely melts,
then spread over the cooled brownie cake.
Cut into bars and serve
