Pecan Pie

1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 heaping cup shelled pecans
3 whole eggs - beaten
Dash of vanilla and a pinch of salt. Mix well and pour in 9" unbaked pastry. Bake at 400 for 10 min. and 350 for another 25-35 min.
